Hamilton Branch State Recreation Area | Destination: SC Parks

Thurmond Lake is part of Hamilton Branch State Recreation Area. There's a lot of recreation such as boating, skiing, jet skiing, and fishing.

Most of the parks in South Carolina with campgrounds in South Carolina, don't offer the feeling of being secluded on your own individual campsite. Hamilton Branch offers this unique experience.

Some of the wildlife in the park include white-tailed deer, turkey, fox squirrels (which are unique to this area) and gray squirrels.
