Arts in Basic Curriculum

The Arts in Basic Curriculum (ABC) Institute strives to ensure students in South Carolina have access to arts-rich educational opportunities as a core component of curriculum. ABC Institute is cooperatively directed by the South Carolina Arts Commission and the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Winthrop University.

ABC Institute invites educators to contribute lesson plans for publication to both Know It All and the SC Department of Education’s Instruction Hub. If you are interested in submitting your own original lesson for publication, we invite you to submit your proposal here. 

ABC Institute is an Arts Grow SC collective network partner. We are funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
