In this episode of NatureScene, Rudy and Jim comb the beaches of Sandy Point, just northeast of Charleston, S.C. Sandy Point is part of the Cape Romaine National Wildlife Refuge.

The most common shell found here is the Atlantic oyster, but Rudy and Jim also find a claw from a Stone crab, a Knobbed whelk shell, a Channeled whelk shell, Moon snail, giant Atlantic cockleshell, and a Bryozoan is found inside a whelk shell.
