Everybody has feelings. Sometimes we feel happy and sometimes we feel sad. How many feelings can you name?

No matter how you feel, it is important to use words to describe your feelings and tell why you feel that way. That's right, no pouting. Use your words. Talking about your feelings can help you feel better and it lets people who care know how to help you or celebrate with you. Let's practice.

"I'm sad because I lost my favorite toy."

"I'm excited because my birthday party is this weekend."
