Gayle Holmes is a storyteller from South Carolina who has been not only telling stories, but creating stories for a long time. He favorite stories are from African and Asian cultures. Telling a story is much more than saying the words. It’s combining events with characters while creating a setting. You begin with imagination. Invent a plot. Add characters that are interesting. Place them in a setting that you would like to visit. Then search out words that convey a meaning that touches your heart and your spirit. Put all this together and you have created a story.
