Darion McCloud has also worked in South Carolina in the children’s section of a public library. He is a storyteller and also an artist who does paintings and drawings. He has always been interested in stories. He loved Greek mythology, comic books, film – all different forms of storytelling. At first, when he started to work in the library and told stories, he was a little afraid, but then he realized storytelling was something he had done all his life! Mr. McCloud tells the story of an old woman who wondered why she was still alive because all she had in her life was pain. Key points: a folk tale is a bit different every time you tell it and how to select a good story to tell.
