Edward Lee is a Brooklyn-born chef and restaurateur. He has made numerous television appearances on shows including The Mind of a Chef on PBS and as a contestant on the ninth season of Top Chef. When Lee attended the SC State Library event, Read Eat Grow, in September 2019, Knowitall sat down for an interview with the chef.

In his book, Lee demonstrates the intersection of food and culture on an epic trip across America where he found exceptional food in unconventional places.
