Audio/Video Technician | Kids Work!

Kaltura

What is an Audio/Video Technician?

These technicians set up and operate sound and video equipment for live and taped programs. They are an important part of the production crew and take cues from the director. A/V technicians regulate the volume of audio sources and monitor those levels. They also set up video signals and monitor video sources to make sure they meet rigid broadcast requirements. An understanding of science and mathematics is necessary to set up, record and mix sounds for complicated productions. A/V Technicians need to have excellent timing skills.
