Those Who Remain: Dentist - Episode 6

Kaltura

Dr. Wenonah George Haire is the only dentist in her tribe. In the evenings, she is consumed by her cultural heritage as a Catawba and spends hours making Catawba pottery. She has concerns that this heritage will be lost, as the older members of the tribe pass away. Today she joins her father on a canoe trip on the Catawba River. The Catawba River Task Force guides the development, future use and preservation of the Catawba River.
