Sustainability at Biltmore Estate | Palmetto Scene

When George Vanderbilt envisioned his grand estate in Asheville, N.C. in the late 1800s, his goal was to be a self-sustaining property. Today, still family owned, the Biltmore continues to honor his vision throughout the 8,000-acre estate in many ways.
