Showcase - Art in the Park | A Natural State - Episode 2

The sculptures of Art in the Park ranged from the whimsical to the sublime. Nearly all sculptures involved pine needles, one of the most abundant materials on the landscape. Constructions included a bed with a headboard of woven vines and twigs, a message written in honeysuckle, assemblages of clay, leaves, feathers and sticks, and a beach framed in reddish gold pine needles.
