Savannah Main Panel, Part 1 - Stuart Williams | Sea Change - Episode 1

Kaltura

Kenneth Sajwan, Ph.D., of Savannah State University’s Environmental Science Program, is our host, and introduces the experts in this Savannah, Georgia climate change panel.

The first speaker is Mr. Stuart Williams of The Corporate Climate Alliance. Mr. Williams discusses the two most main factors about climate change which affect not only Savannah’s community, but surrounding communities as well: mitigation, and resiliency. Economics also plays an important role in maintaining communities, and if the velocity of capital is not reinforced, then, if communities go “past the point of no return,” it will become more difficult to withstand the impacts of climate change.
