Old Santee Canal Park (S.C.) Stop 1 - Santee River - Episode 1

Kaltura

Rudy and Jim visit Old Santee Canal Park, a historic lowcountry area near Monck’s Corner, South Carolina. The area features a wide array of habitats, containing both native and non-native plants. Some of the life found here is affected by the Cooper River’s tides.

At this first stop, we see some Dogwood, a Popcorn tree, Persimmon, Mistletoe, and Spanish Moss.

A few Yellow Warbler birds are seen in the Persimmon tree.
