Misty Massey | A Literary Tour of South Carolina

Misty Massey was born in Virginia and moved to South Carolina when she was twelve. Her parents were both educators who encouraged her reading addiction, which started in kindergarten! She is known as a fantasy writer and her first novel, Mad Kestrel, was published in 2008. She has also published short stories in many magazines. Massey is one of the founding members of the blog, MagicalWords.net.  Magical Words is dedicated to helping newer writers with all aspects of the craft and business of writing. She lives in S.C. with her husband and son and works as a middle school librarian.
