Community - Mosaic Garden

Sumter's downtown Mosaic Garden is the result of Pearl Fryar's inspiration and design, the guidance of dedicated teachers, and the imagination of over 400 students. While Pearl arranged garden paths and topiaries, students worked on mosaic benches, stepping stones and a garden fountain. In this video, Heidi Adler, the coordinator of Accessibility’s Mosaic Garden project, works with her Sumter high school art class to create mosaic bench tops and the garden materializes after months of community effort.
