Kaltura

Geona Shaw Johnson, the Director of Housing & Community Development for Charleston, introduces the experts in the Charleston Climate Change panel. Each panelist will answer the questions, “How do we prioritize?” and “Who should champion this very important matter?” regarding climate change.

The first panelist is Dr. George Sedberry, of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He discusses how climate change, and the rise of ocean temperatures affect fish, and their natural habitats. Fish moving around to find more preferable ocean temperatures, are also affecting fisheries.  Local economies along the eastern coast are having to adapt in order to stay in business.
