All About Bats, Part 6 | Making It Grow

Kaltura

In this final segment, Susan Loeb, a research ecologist stationed at the University of Clemson, joins host Amanda McNulty to discuss more in depth about the connection between bats and the Coronavirus. With the loss of more habitats, this is causing an increase in interaction between humans and bats. Bats play an equally significant role in forest ecology as well as in agriculture. Susan has also researched the effects of White Nose Syndrome on bats residing in Clemson’s Stumphouse Tunnel.
