Host Amanda McNulty of the Clemson Extension continues her discussion with Jennifer Kindel, a wildlife biologist at the Department of Natural Resources, about bats. Bats face a number of diseases and conditions, such as the fungal infection known as White Nose Syndrome. Places where bats hibernate are called hibernacula. Jennifer dispels the myth that bats are the largest carriers of rabies.
