Lesson Progression
Objectives: TSWBT perform different exercises while also cooperating in playing rock, paper, scissors
Equipment: Exercise Posters, Gym Space
Set-up: Separate students into 4 groups with each group in a different corner. Exercise posters should be taped to the wall near a corner
How to play: Students will begin the game separated into 4 groups with each group being at one of the 4 corners. To start the students will find another student and challenge them to rock, paper, scissors. The winner will jog clockwise to the next corner and challenge someone that is in that corner. The student that lost will perform a set of 10 of whatever exercise poster is at their corner. Once the student completes 10 of that exercise they will stay in that corner and challenge someone else. Students only move to the next corner when the win a challenge of rock, paper, scissors.
Exercise options: Pushups, squats, burpees, mountain climbers, curl-ups, jumping jacks, line jumps, etc.
