Touch the Earth - Inner Process | A Natural State

Crucible was one of the first installations in Clemson University's Nature-Based Sculpture Program. After ten years of exposure to rain, snow and pedestrian interaction, Herb Parker began a project of restoration and revisions that would prolong the life of Crucible for years to come. The following video shows Parker "splattering" the interior of the dome, a process that required over three hundred pounds of colored cement slurry.
