Petroglyphs - Meaning | A Natural State - Episode 3

Kaltura

Archaeologists reconstruct past lives by collecting and examining evidence such as tools, art objects and other material signs of culture. Finding the meaning behind the petroglyphs is the next step in Tommy's work. One image portrays a human figure surrounded by a rectangular shape. What does this box symbolize - a house, a temple, a jail? Tommy attempts to find meaning by comparing rock art from this location with hundreds of other sites around the state.
