This snake is one of the largest venomous snakes in the world, and it is capable of reaching lengths of more than 8 feet and can weigh up to 30 pounds. Eastern diamondbacks are normally found in the coastal lowlands and long-leaf pine forests from North Carolina to the Florida Keys and west to Louisiana.
