The Big Picture spent Constitution Day 2010 in Mount Pleasant at the Charles Pinckney National Historic Site, where 119 people took the oath to make United States citizens. Over 46 countries from around the world were represented. The people have all lived in different towns and cities in South Carolina. Many have gone through the citizenship process for five years. The process includes interviews, civics and history and if they can speak basic English.
