Anthony Varallo lives in Charleston and, since 2005, has been teaching at the College of Charleston. In 2008 he won the Drue Heinz Literature Prize for Out Loud. He is the author of three collections of short fiction: This Day in History (2005), Out Loud (2008), and Think of Me and I’ll Know (2013). He has received a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literature, and his stories have appeared in over sixty literary magazines and journals.
