Stamp Act, Tea Act, and Sons of Liberty

Students will follow a guided PowerPoint that will walk them through different activities to learn more about the different Acts passed on the colonists.

Lesson Progression

Students will follow the PowerPoint linked in Lesson Resources.
As they read each slide, they will take notes about what they have learned from reading or watching linked videos. They should make a foldable cut into three sections: Tea Act, Stamp Act, and Sons of Liberty.

Once students have finsihed the slide show, they will begin the project.

On a poster paper, create a sign or poster that represents the relationship between the British and Colonists during this time period. Poster should have little to no white space, and should include all information learned with very few words.

Teacher Notes

If students do not have supplies, they can make the poster on Word.
