History Makers
Students will understand how they have made history by living through this Pandemic. They will use their knowledge of multiple medias to create their own profile.

Lesson Progression
Introduction:
Students will watch the Making History Video.
Guided Lesson:
1. Students will need the t-chart with three columns.
2. They will label the columns past, present, future.
3. Have students take a few minutes to think about their lives before COVID 19.
4. Students will bullet point parts of their lives that were once there before the pandemic.
5. Have students take a few minutes to think about their lives right now - during the pandemic. (What is your life like now? What has changed? School? Shopping?)
6. Students will bullet point parts of their lives currently.
7. Lastly, have students think about their lives in the future. (How will life be different? What will be the new norms?)
8. Students will bullet point predictions about their lives in the future.
9. Students will scroll down to the History Makers document.
10. They will pick on part of their t-charts to depict in their Instagram profile. They will describe themselves, their lives, etc.
Closure:
Students will scroll down to the reflection page. Have students think about their lives over the duration of the pandemic. Ask them to reflect on how they have overcome trying obstacles. Explain that they have made history by living through COVID 19 and have students reflect and write their thoughts and feelings on this history-making topic.
