Day 1:

Day 2:

Students will watch the following video on Knowitall.org and write 5 facts they learned while watching the video. https://www.knowitall.org/video/grimke-sisters-through-civil-war-part-2-activism-action-1-sisterhood-sc-suffragists

 

Day 3:

Students will watch the following video on Knowitall.org and write 5 facts they learned while watching the video. https://www.knowitall.org/video/grimke-sisters-through-civil-war-part-3-activism-action-2-sisterhood-sc-suffragists

 

Day 4:

Students will watch the following video on Knowitall.org and write 5 facts they learned while watching the video. https://www.knowitall.org/video/grimke-sisters-through-civil-war-part-4-final-chapter-sisterhood-sc-suffragists

 

  • Then, students will write a reflective essay on what they learned from the video series. The students should also include their thoughts about the video series and the information presented.
  • Once students have written their reflective essay, they will create their own way to present what they learned and include it in their essays. (This can be through a written response with pictures included, a collage with a written response explaining it, a pamphlet, etc.)
