Lesson Progression
2 Square
Objectives: TSWBT successfully strike a ball into the opponents’ square using their hands
Equipment: Kickball, Chalk/Floor Tape, Gym Space
How to Play:
- The game begins when one player serves the ball. They let the ball bounce once and then hit it into their opponents’ square.
- The receiving player must let the ball bounce once and then return it back to their opponents’ square
- If there are players waiting in line, the player who gets out goes to the end of the line and the next player comes in.
You are out if…
- You hit the ball outside the square
- Bounces twice before it is returned
- Is not allowed to bounce (hit in the air)
- The ball hits the line
- Is carried or held
- You hit the ball with your palms facing the ground
- Hits any part of the body besides the hands
