Introduction | Chernobyl Event: An Update At 35 Years - Episode 1

     Host Angel Malone introduces the panel members, and sets the stage for the discussion on the largest nuclear disaster in human history – the Chernobyl incident. The disaster at Chernobyl caused ramifications throughout the entire world. Around sixty thousand residents lived in Pripyat at the time of the disaster, and were forced to leave when the plant’s reactor core melted down. The radiation caused genetic mutations in plants and animals, and many children were born with birth defects.
