Miriam Barbosa
Miriam Barbosa received her classical training and earned her MFA from the University of Fine Arts at Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is a former member of the Martha Graham Dance Company and a former USC Assistant Professor of Dance. She founded the SC School of Contemporary Dance as a Division of SCCDC, established in 2007 as a non-profit organization.
Miriam Barbosa and Marcelo Novo collaborated to create the multimedia dance performance Catharsis.
