Christian Von Howard

Christian is an international performer, teacher, choreographer and the Artistic Director of the VON HOWARD PROJECT, a contemporary dance company based in New Jersey and New York. In 2006 he received a Fellowship from the New Jersey State Council of the Arts.

Christian was on the dance faculty of Columbia College and served as the Associate Artistic Director for the Power Company, South Carolina's leading contemporary dance company. He has also been a member on the faculty at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York City since 1998.

Christian holds a BFA from Texas Christian University and a MFA from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
