Dollmaking

Ms. Kathy Houser has several unique talents including making art dolls, puppets, quilts, and sculpting figures. She has been practicing this art since 2005 and teaching it to others since 2007. Her passion began when she started taking classes in doll-making from John Campbell and Charlie Patricdo.

She works with several different mediums in this art including recycled fabric and material, cloth, batting, sewing and craft supplies. She enjoys teaching doll making to people with sewing experience. She does not sell her dolls, but she does love to help others make their own.

Since 2009 she has been visiting different workshops and quilting groups to teach and demonstrate. Ms. Houser is from Catawba, North Carolina and moved to South Carolina in the late 1990s.
