Genocide and Human Atrocities Around the World

Lesson Overview

As a start for our research unit, students partner up and choose a different genocide to research.  It also serves as cross curriculum effort with Geography classes.   The vast sample of events students can choose from helps students become more culturally aware of the harm inflicted around the world from hateful ideology.  It serves in the capacity to help keep end or stop from repeating these atrocities.
