St. Patrick's Day Figurative Language Scoot

Read aloud the book Pete the Cat: The Great Leprechaun Chase (book can be found on YouTube)

Have students work in groups to determine types of figurative language found in the book and how they shape meaning.

Students will also determine the theme of the story AND provide supporting details to back up what they choose.
