William Price Fox | Writer's Workshop

William Price Fox

(April 9, 1926 – April 19, 2015)

"You aren't working until you're writing—that's the secret." As a writer and writing teacher, Fox believes in starting with a sound and building from that. He advises students not to worry about spelling and punctuation in the beginning, to forget dictionaries and thesauruses, and to "go with the first impression always...because the words that occur to you are usually the right words."
