Sumter, Part 5 - Lenoir General Store | Palmetto Places

North of Stateburg (outside of Sumter, South Carolina), in the village of Horatio, stands the Lenoir General Store, whose construction was sometime in the late 1700's, by Isaac Lenoir, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.  Today, the establishment is part store, part museum.  The Lenoir family has owned this business for over 200 years, spanning over eight generations.
