Edgefield County English teacher Lynn Booraem takes us on a tour through The Ridge’s roadside stands. The main produce sold at these stands are peaches, watermelons, cantaloupes, and tomatoes.

“The Peanut Man” Ike Carpenter is not only a roadside stand owner, but is also a local folk artist who specializes in wood carvings, and examples of his works are seen all over the U.S. Mr. Carpenter joins to talk about the various things he makes out of wood, more specifically, usable utensils, such as spoons.
