The I.P. Stanback Museum features an extensive collection of African and African-American works. Curator Frank Martin joins to discuss the museum’s history, along with the museum’s mission of preserving African and African American history and culture with the artifacts on display.

The director of the I.P. Stanback Museum is Dr. Leo Twiggs, a nationally renowned artist who specializes in the art form known as “Batik.” Dr. Twiggs discusses what Batik is, how it’s created, and his inspirations for doing Batik artworks.
