Today, Orangeburg County is associated with its growth of rose flowers. Rotie Salley, the park superintendent of the Edisto Memorial Gardens, joins to discuss the history of the gardens, its natural features, and the diverse species of plants grown here. The park became a memorial garden around 1950, to honor America’s fallen soldiers.
