SC's official Wind Direction checker, Baron Von Hotair, flies over SC from the mountains to the sea in his balloon and discusses the land he sees below and the different regions of the state. He points out Sassafras Mountain, Caesar's Head, Table Rock and clear mountain streams. He flies over the rolling hills of the Up Country with its red clay soil and its rivers which are rocky and shallow at the Fall Line and describes the marsh lands and sea islands.
