Built in 1908, this church is on the National Register of Historic Places. Still in operation today, it illustrates the widespread growth of independent African-American churches in the South during and after Reconstruction.  This church features design elements reminiscent of the late 19th century.  Reverend Fred Armfield discusses how the church got its stained glass windows.
