Kaltura
The Battle of Eutaw Springs in Orangeburg County took place in 1781 and was important in the Patriot’s cause in the Revolutionary War.

In a near rout, Nathanael Greene's army beat the British in the first phase and drove back most of their line. The British, under Alexander Stuart, regrouped and counterattacked, driving the disorganized Americans from the field. The numbers engaged and losses were roughly equal.
