Cold War America

1947 - 1991. The Cold War was a state of political and military tension after World War II between powers in the Western Bloc (the United States and its allies) and powers in the Eastern Bloc (the Soviet Union and its allies). The Cold War ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992.
