Biltmore Estate (North Carolina)

Host Jim Welch takes viewers around Biltmore Estate. The Biltmore House is not only the largest privately owned home in the U.S., but is also a national historic landmark. Eddie “Crying Elk” King is part of the Sioux Native American tribe. Eddie, along with other Native Americans, regularly gather for Pow-wows, to keep their old traditions alive, and to honor their ancestors.  Elizabeth Hanson is a professor of American literature at the College of Charleston, who aims to bring more respect and esteem to Southern women.
