At Bill’s Pickin’ Parlor, in Columbia, South Carolina, every Saturday, patrons can come to create “Bluegrass Jam Sessions.” Bill Wells talks about how his Pickin’ Parlor came to be, and his passion for bluegrass music. A trip through Francis Beidler Forest and an up-close look at its wild creatures. The National Audubon Society and the Nature Conservancy teamed up to preserve about six-thousand acres. The Forest contains the largest remaining virgin stand of bald cypress and tupelo gum trees in the world. It is managed by the National Audubon Society.
