• Looks like tiny umbrellas
• Lobed leaves
• Either single or double stalked; double, v-shaped stalk is uncommon
• Underground stems store food and give rise to a colony of plants
• Nodding flowers have white petals and large stamens full of pollen
• Flowers turn to red fruit
