“History In A Nutshell” Episode 3 is finally up and running! For those who were looking forward to this new installment, I’d like to personally extend my thanks for your patience. This episode was supposed to be published on September 17, for Constitution Day. Mother Nature, it seemed, had other plans. Hurricane Florence slowed everything down, and production was delayed. But it is now posted on Knowitall.org, and it will be there for next year!
This episode, “Birth Of The Constitution” will cover how the U.S. Constitution came to be, and the previous documents leading up to it: The Declaration of Independence, and the Articles of Confederation. Another important note about this episode is that it will take a different approach compared to other content we have on Knowitall, and will cover why the Articles of Confederation failed. There are many reasons why, of course, but this will cover the main reasons why it simply did not work. Along with the video itself, a supplementary photo gallery is provided.
This episode was much more labor intensive compared to episodes one and two, since no stock footage existed in the late 18th century. To make up for this, this episode is more animation-heavy, in order to explain concepts in a way audiences of all ages can understand!
The series will still move forward to discuss the Space Race of the 1960s. The topic will be broken up into three episodes: episode four will cover the early years and Project Mercury, five will cover Gemini, and six will cover Apollo to the moon!
We are still accepting suggestions or ideas for future historical topics. If you have something you would like to see covered in a future episode, feel free to reach out to us using our feedback form!
