Troleum Dawson
Painting and Drawing
Mr. Troleum Dawson was born and raised in South Carolina. He is a professional artist who specializes in painting and drawing. He was taught by his father as well as other members on his father's side of the family. He began his career as an artist at an early age, learning to draw in second grade. He began learning by practicing the basics, working on improving shapes and lines. He works with a variety of paints and pencils applied to paper and canvas. Mr. Dawson actively collaborates with the community in Anderson County to share his art with others. Every year on April 3rd he visits Concord Elementary School to teach students at a school art event. He has also taught at First Fridays, an art studio in Greenville, South Carolina as well as the Belton Center for Arts, Upstate Visual Arts, and the Anderson Art Warehouse.
