Storyteller

Mrs. Patty Taylor is from Charleston, West Virginia and moved to South Carolina in the mid 1990's. She is a storyteller who specializes in musical storytelling for children. She uses an autoharp to accompany her stories, which she plays herself. She learned the art of story-telling at the University of South Carolina School of Library and Information Science. She taught herself how to play the autoharp. She also incorporates puppets into her shows. Mrs. Taylor makes appearances at the Lexington County Public Library as well as the Augusta Baker's Dozen festival in Augusta, Georgia.
